Dog the Bounty Hunter and Francie Frane are officially a married couple after tying the knot on Thursday night.

Following a whirlwind romance, the pair tied the knot at The Pinery at the Hill in Colorado Springs, Colorado, two years after the death of the 68-year-old’s wife, Beth Chapman.

In a statement to E!, Dog – real name Duane Chapman – stated: ‘Francie and I are thrilled to be husband and wife. We appreciate all the prayers and well-wishes.’

Speaking to press before the ceremony, the former reality star gushed: ‘I feel very excited and I’m very blessed.

‘There’s no words to say how much I love Francie – I told her this the other day – and there’s no words to say how excited I am. I feel like they’re pulling up a brand new motorcycle for me tomorrow.’

With a smile on his face, he added ‘things are going to change.’

Meanwhile, Dog’s daughter Bonnie recently claimed her father didn’t invite her to his wedding because of her ‘choice to participate in social justice protests’, which he has denied.

The TV star has faced heavy criticism ever since he announced his engagement to Francie, 10 months after Beth died.

He and Beth began dating in 1986 and married in 2006, before she died on 25 June at the age of 51 following a battle with throat and lung cancer

After announcing his engagement to Francie, Dog stated that he wanted her to be ‘the last Mrs Chapman’.

Opening up about their special bond, he said: ‘It’s a God relationship because it’s just like a miracle. It’s a miracle how we met and it’s a miracle how great we’re getting along. It’s a very real love that we are developing with each other.

‘Both of us are allowed to talk about our spouses that are in Heaven – it’s not like we’re afraid to mention it or anything like that. We console each other but we also know that we have a responsibility and that is to do this right.’
