If there’s something Cannes can always be relied upon to deliver, it’s glamour, and stars including Naomi Campbell and Naomie Harris were there to heap it on us in spades on Saturday during the 75th annual Cannes film festival.

Attending the Celebration Of Women In Cinema Gala hosted by the Red Sea International Film Festival at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the order of the day appeared to be dramatic glitz as full-length gowns swept the red carpet alongside plenty of black sparkle.

Following on from Anne Hathaway’s gorgeous Barbarella-style mini-dress at Friday’s Armageddon Time photocall, model Naomi oozed sophistication in a bright pink, full-length appliqué floral dress over a sheer base.

The new mum, who welcomed her daughter in May 2021, completed her look with a messy beehive updo, dangling earrings and a pale pink manicure, which she showed off as she posed for pictures on the arm of producer Mohammed Al Turki.

Model Alessandra Ambrosio, who recently modelled for Kim Kardashian’s Skims range alongside Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks, also opted for pink and flowery with her dress, which featured a pale pink tulle layer and glittery straps and corsetry detail around her floral detailing.

Bond star Naomie Harris went in a different direction with her stunning white pleated gown with matching cape.

The actress accessorised her outfit with a silver clutch and hoop earrings and wore her hair in long braids.

Nayla Al Khaja, the first female film writer, director and producer in the United Arab Emirates, also attended in a sweeping pale pink outfit and black headscarf.

Other attendees opted for classic chic black outfits.

The Vampire Diaries’ star Kat Graham rocked a sequinned black dress with cutaway panels and a stack of gold rings, while model and actress Suki Waterhouse appeared in a tuxedo-inspired glittery number.

Russian supermodel Natasha Polly also went for black with her simple black gown with a unique curved neckline, while Egyptian actress Tara Emad combined black and florals with her white ruffle hem dress.

Spanish star Rossy de Palma was also in attendance in an eye-catching black and white graphic print billowing outfit, while German actress Emilia Schüle was present in red and Polish model Anja Rubik in black, alongside Portuguese Victoria’s Secret Angel Sara Sampaio.

The 2022 Cannes film festival has already treated us to pregnant Adriana Lima taking a leaf out of Rihanna’s book and displaying her baby bump in a cut-out dress, as well as Tom Cruise and the cast of Top Gun: Maverick and Take That’s Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald as they prep for the filming of their upcoming movie, Greatest Day.
