Tom Parker’s hair has begun growing back after going through rounds of chemotherapy and no one is more happy than his son.

The Wanted singer was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year and has been fighting the disease with treatment, which caused him to lose his hair.

However, he’s been sporting a fuller head of hair in recent weeks on social media and his wife Kelsey shared a cute moment of their son, Albie, embracing his dad’s new look.

In an Instagram video, Tom can be seen lounging on the sofa as Albie strokes his head and drinks from his sippy cup.

‘When Tom lost his hair to chemotherapy …..Now it’s grown back Albie is so happy,’ Kelsey captioned the video.

‘Children are so resilient- they don’t know how much we need them ❤️,’ she added.

Tom was back in hospital on Thursday to have a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan after showing signs of improvement

An MRI scan uses radio waves to produce detailed images of inside of the body and can be used to examine also any part including the brain, bones and internal organs.

The former pop star shared an update on his health with concerned fans after the MRI on Saturday evening, and explained in his Instagram stories: ‘We’re just awaiting the results back which will give us an update on what’s happening and stuff…

‘So far have done all the treatment so far, just chemotherapy, radiation, and then we’ll just kind of see where we’re at from there. So wish me good luck next week.’

He later added: ‘Also, just had a little muscle wastage on my left side when I was first diagnosed. It was just so hard to use anything, my arm, my leg, and then obviously when you don’t use anything, the muscle just deteriorates. So I’ve started getting active again.’

As Kelsey noted his weight loss, Tom revealed he’d lost three stone since being diagnosed.

His wife added: ‘It’s annoying in life that you can lose things quick but it’s really hard to put it back [on]. So Tom’s training really hard, aren’t you hunny?’

Tom was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in September 2020 not long before his son Bodhi was born.
