Tom Parker has shared a sweet video of him and his wife Kelsey teaching their two-year-old daughter about Tom’s cancer treatment.

Although Aurelia, two, is too young to understand the details of Tom’s brain tumour battle, the couple have been teaching her that he needs to take medication to get better.

Tom shared a video telling fans: ‘The resilience our kids have shown blows my mind. We’ve always been very open with our bubba’s about daddy’s situation.. and yes my girl, I am getting better every day just for you.’

In it, Tom and Kelsey can be heard asking Aurelia to tell them who takes tablets, to which she points at Tom and says ‘daddy’.

They then ask her why Tom takes tablets, to which she sweetly replies that it’s to get a ‘treat’, as Tom jokes: ‘Technically, yeah!’

She then adds it is for him to get ‘better’ as she wraps him in a giant hug while Tom tells her: ‘Daddy’s going to get better for you, isn’t he?’

Tom has been having chemotherapy and radiotherapy after being diagnosed with an incurable stage four glioblastoma last year.

The former The Wanted star has seen reductions in the size of the tumour in recent scans and has been having physiotherapy to rebuild the strength in his left side after the tumour caused it to weaken.

He revealed he was back in hospital on Tuesday having more treatment as he told his followers about the snack pack Kelsey had made for him.

Showing the inside of his bag, Tom told them: ‘How cute is my wife, she’s packed me a banana, some water and fruit. She’s so kind.’

The couple, who also share son Bodhi, are also putting on a fundraiser concert to raise money for further research into brain tumours after finding out the budget devoted to it is so low.
